ABOUT US
The difficulty that international students, travellers and recently arrived immigrants have to find suitable accommodation in Australia is impressive. The most affordable places are far from schools and work, while the most centralised places are very expensive. Furthermore, properties are often managed by an ordinary person, leaving potential tenants insecure about providing money upfront or without surety the rental agreement will be upheld. An incredible amount of unfortunate stories has occur in the past years. For this reason, Cozy Place was funded to provide affordable, flexible, well-located and trustworthy accommodation. Nothing is better than having a peaceful Cozy Place to call home.
MEET OUR TEAM
Dr. Renan Santana migrated to Australia to study English in 2012. Whilst pursuing his career, Dr. Santana volunteered at the Queensland Museum as an assistant researcher. In 2015, he began his PhD at the university of Queensland, completing his doctorate in 2018.
During his journey, Dr. Renan found a gap in the real estate market and decided to start a company. The company remained small, on purpose, during the course of his studies. However, now that Dr. Santana has completed his degree, he is dedicated fulltime to the expansion of the company, gathering more partners and helping more students and travellers.
